Carolina Gold Ribs

Ingredients
Rib rub
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 2 tsp celery seed
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp cayenne
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
To finish
- 2 rib racks
- BBQ sauce
Make it

Using a mortar and pestle, grind all the rub ingredients together until everything is crushed.

Smear the rib rub on the meaty side of 2 rib racks until coated.

Place ribs on a cookie sheet, cover with foil, and bake at 300°F for 3 hours or until fork-tender.

Broil the ribs for 2 minutes before removing from the oven.

Brush the meaty side generously with BBQ sauce — we used Lillie’s Q Carolina Gold.
